When I look back, my journey seems less about achievements and more about the courage to begin again after every setback. My career started with challenges few saw coming—an unpaid internship at Tata Communications, followed by a modest salary at Infosys. My dreams were bigger than my circumstances, and after a failed food truck business and countless nights at a BPO, it was easy to feel defeated.
But each challenge was also a teacher. Failure taught me resilience—how to get back up, rebuild, and find purpose even when everything seemed uncertain.
I learned that growth is not linear. Leaders aren’t born—they are shaped in the fire of adversity. My story isn’t unique; every person faces setbacks in life. What makes the difference is how we respond. I chose to transform my hardships into fuel for learning.
This shift in mindset took me from survival mode to a path of impact. Leading teams at Tata Group, HCL, and Infosys, mentoring thousands of students, and writing bestselling books all became possible because I learned to embrace challenges. Today, my mission is to help others see setbacks not as roadblocks, but as stepping stones to a stronger future.
If you’re in a tough place now, remember—every great story has moments of struggle. Use them to build your foundation, not break your spirit. Your comeback can be your biggest achievement yet.
